Hobart Handler 190 MIG Welder with H100S4-10 MIG gun and 10' leads is used to weld aluminum with a small frame MIG welder. Extra kits and controls are not required as it already consists of a spool gun circuitry. The 7 voltage selections, improved magnetics and the infinite wire feed speed provides easier fine control of the output parameters and deliver great arc performance with less spatter for a better bead appearance and less clean up. The Handler 190 creates a welding arc that matches the metal thickness and the wire diameter. It can weld 24 gauge up to 5/16" steel and can be used with mild or stainless steel welding wires. An internal wire feeder having a quick-release drive roll lever is included and the built-in contactor facilitates easy use. It gives easy access to the polarity changeover and contains storage holes for spare tips. It is a great safety feature that makes electrically cold when not welding. The dual groove drive rolls promotes switching of one wire to other and offers a knurled groove as well as a smooth groove for 0.030 - 0.035" wire. The single phase welder requires an AC input voltage of 230 V and delivers a 190 A DC output. It has a Duty Cycle of 30% and renders self-resetting thermal overload and motor protection. The welder contains a built-in gas valve, dual gauge regulator and gas hose, power cord with plug, 10' work cable with clamp, sample spool of 0.030" self-shielded flux corded welding wire, extra 0.030" contact tips and a weld set-up chart.
