The release of the Veloster in 2012 introduced a seriously bold body style with a turbocharged engine and manual transmission, an ideal combination for an enthusiast vehicle. However, many users have found that increased boost, engine tuning, and other performance modifications stress the charge-air cooling system. Mishimoto has developed a remedy for this: our new Silicone Intercooler Hose Kit, designed specifically for 2013-2017 1.6 Turbo equipped Veloster. Our Silicone Intercooler Hose Kit is a direct-fit replacement and includes three hot-side intercooler hoses, one cold-side intercooler hose, and a bypass valve hose. Weve also included high-quality stainless-steel T-bolt clamps for the intercooler hoses and worm gear clamps for the bypass hose to make installation easy. Mishimoto silicone hoses are constructed from high-grade 4-ply silicone with embedded heat-resistant fibers. This durable combination provides superior pressure tolerance and heat resistance up to 330°F. Weve also incorporated internal wire reinforcement to prevent expansion or collapse for additional strength in high boost applications.
