This is a handwoven authentic silk scarf. It truly is a beautiful piece.
China Brocade evolved from colorful silk fabrics of Song Dynasty. Brocade had been designated as tributes to the royal families respectively in Yun, Ming, Qing Dynasties. The brocade described as "an inch of the silk fabrics equals to and inch of gold" by the ancient Chinese is woven by big-size wooden loons 5.6m long, 4m high and 1.4m wide operated by two workers, one above and one below. This technology hasn't been replaced by machines yet.
