– Production of [KHAKI] pants (current chinos), said to be the prototype of work pants, began in 1923, and workwear for workers became explosively popular, with Dickies workwear spreading throughout the world. In 1967, Dickies' signature [874], now known to everyone, was born. Based on the USA standard of this historic Dickies [874], [m.u] added its own unique essence to the sophisticated design of [PRE_], reconstructing it into layered-style double-waist pants that look like you're wearing multiple pairs of pants. The newly added inner waist uses fabric with a moderate thickness and firmness, and features an easy specification combining a single snap button, a long, impactful cord, and elastic. The double waist creates a three-dimensional effect as if you were layering clothes, and you can wear the inner waist without worrying about gaps. In addition, the ability to freely change the impression by arranging the waist position is also one of the attractions; wear it high-waisted for a stylish look, low-waisted for a casual style with a relaxed feel, or fold the inner waist inward for simple work pants. Furthermore, [m.u]'s unique attention to detail extends to the hem. Two-stage adjustable snap buttons are placed on the back of the lower leg, allowing you to enjoy a change in silhouette from straight to flare depending on the button position. The fabric woven together when the buttons are fastened creates an exquisite expression that moves naturally with the wearer.
