【Description】
This top was created from the idea of what would happen if a knit crew neck sweater could be freely shaped with woven fabric. It has a neckline that's easy to put on without buttons. The cuffs are made of woven fabric instead of ribbing. Enjoy the alluring look of a shirt when you roll up the sleeves. The bomber sleeves are something that can never be achieved with knitwear. The directional sleeves and the tapered body silhouette create a sculptural beauty that exists apart from the body, which is what the designer was aiming for.
Designer Mr. Sugihara worked as a modelist at Yves Saint Laurent, designing and patterning for both men's and women's wear. After returning to Japan, he was involved in the design, OEM, and ODM of factory brands at a long-established cut-and-sew manufacturer before becoming independent. He launched his own brand, "nonnotte," from the 2023 fall/winter season. He is the former designer of AUBETT.
