Old STEVENS & WILLIAMS Red Cased Hand Blown Applied Flower Art Glass VASE

Vintage Art Glass Red Vase With Embossed Flower Design Ruffled 8" Tall --1930's

The vase is made of red cased glass with a clear glass round base. At the front of the vase is a large applied flower done in clear glass. In the center of the flower there is an area of splatter glass with colors of white, orange, green and yellow. Nice, intricate detailing is present on the leaves. Top of the vase has a pinched ruffle design with hints of amberina colored glass at the points of the ruffles. Exterior of the vase is a bright cherry red color and the interior is white. The bottom of the vase has a pontil mark in the center indicating that the vase was hand blown. There are no markings to indicate a manufacturer or artist. Believed to have been produced by Stevens & Williams, an English glassmaking company that was in business from 1847 to 1967. This gorgeous vase would make a great addition to any art glass or vase collection! A nice vase to use!Light age and use wear. No chips or cracks.
