Wow, this listing includes five (5) photo books apparently taken by a professional photographer in the US Army Signal Corp primarily in Hawaii, and a few in the South Pacific. The photos were taken at the tail end of World War 2 and just afterward (1945-1946). The photos in the South Pacific appear to be limited to the book documenting the congressional visitation. One of the books has a photo of the photographer. He is wearing a military uniform with a Corporal Technician rank (see last listing photo).
One of the books is a "Photographic Records of the tour of the Congressional Sub-Committee War Department Appropriations", with the compliments of Lieutenant General Robert C. Richardson. The photos in this particular book are primarily of congressmen and military officers. Many of the individuals are well known and have significant information available online about them. The large majority of photos in this book are marked US Army Signal Corp.
