A unique and beautiful original floral artwork in oil on canvas showing the branches of a flowering tree - possibly a dogwood or magnolia - as painted by Topeka, Kansas, artist Joyce Cowan Shupe (American, 20th/21st century). Shupe earned her bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Washburn University in 1973 with an emphasis in pottery but she loves to paint florals. She learned how to paint beautiful flowers on porcelain too. This colorful painting in pinks, purples, browns, and sky blue is on an unframed 16” by 20” canvas with sides painted so it can be hung as is or framed however you choose. This wonderful piece is in perfect condition with no flaws. I am an art collector myself and enjoy searching for fine works to offer to people interested in beginning their own art collection.
