First edition, early printing (not numbered) hardcover copy of Pet Sematary by Stephen King (Doubleday, 1983). Gutter code “Y43” likely indicates a second or very early printing as the first printing’s gutter code was “Y38”, less than two months prior. A classic early horror / supernatural novel by the master of the genre. Price clipped jacket protected in new archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creases and small tears. Long scratch across center of front cover. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Slightly cocked spine but binding remains firm. Previous owner’s inscription on front endpaper and with embossed personal stamp on title page, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
