Listing is for a vintage postcard with J. Edgar Hoover's autograph! I know it is real, because Mary, to whom he signed the card, was my mother, and she would have had access, because my grandfather, her father, was a lobbyist. My family spent a lot of time down on Capitol Hill, and my grandparents regularly hosted parties for a mix of people.
The postcard is off Harvey's Restaurant, which was very popular among prominent people at the time, including politicians.
