This is the sequel to the masterpiece RPG "Shadow Hearts," which was popular for its thrilling battle system and gothic romantic worldview. It's a title that can be called a masterpiece, contributing to the enrichment of titles when the PlayStation 2 was first released and it was said that there weren't many interesting RPGs available.
This game begins six months after the previous game, in the small village of Domremy in northern France. Set in 1915, after the outbreak of World War I, the game's unique world view blends occult and fantastical elements, and you'll enjoy a grand story that spans from Europe to the Far East.
The "Judgment Ring" system, where the timing of button presses determines the effects of attacks and magic, is used. Furthermore, the addition of "Combination Attacks" has successfully created more strategic and tense battles.
