Backwards compatible ps3 (tested) this is the CECHE01 model. Both av and hdmi ports work perfectly fine but ps3 will be in av mode, so if you are trying to use hdmi on here you have to hold the power button and wait for 2 beeps for it to display.
Fan can ramp up in newer more demanding ps3 games such as The Last of Us but no issues of overheating.You will get a hum in some games. I would recommend a change in thermal paste
