The QNAP QWA-AC2600 is a PCIe wireless adapter that turns a compatible QNAP NAS, Linux workstation, or desktop PC into a high-performance access point or range-extending client. By adding this card you gain Wi-Fi based on 802.11ac and 802.11n standards, with two separate bands that work at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for a combined throughput of up to 2533 Mb/s. That capacity is ideal for situations such as 4K media streaming from a NAS, fast workstation backups, or providing low-latency connectivity for multiple laptops and mobile devices at the same time.
The adapter uses a 4 × 4 MU-MIMO design so it can communicate with several clients concurrently rather than queuing traffic. Four detachable 5 dBi omni directional antennas connect through RP-SMA ports, and an 80 cm coaxial lead with a magnetic base lets you position the antennas away from the chassis for better signal quality.
