Rare 1959 Corning Ware Blue Cornflower Embossed Bottom Flame Stamp A-11 w/Lid
This is a 60 year old plus Corning Ware Blue Cornflower Casserole dish with accompanying Pyrex clear glass lid. The dish has the embossed Corning Ware stamp (model A-11) which dates it to 1959. Due to its age and size, it is relatively rare in the marketplace.
The dish measures 8 1/4" square and is 2" deep. It is in good overall vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks in either the dish or the lid. It is clean overall, but it is clear that it has been actively used over the past 60 years as both the exterior and interior of the dish show some signs of slight staining and the bottom shows shelf/oven wear.
A great vintage find of an iconic piece of Americana cookware that is fully functional or is a great addition to any vintage Corning Ware collection.
