MCM COPCO 101E ~ made in Denmark ~ 4 quart Iron Enamelware Roaster Dutch Oven Pot w/ Lid
. Designed by Michael Lax. The handles extend out approx 2" on each side making this appear to be oval. The baking interior surface is round and very large to accommodate a 5 to 6 lb chicken or large roast beef.
If you love 1960-70s Descoware, you will love this roasting pot.
The lid is heavy and tight so air doesn't escape which adds so much to the flavor. Made of cast iron with enamel coating inside and outside. Very close to perfect, no chips but some extremely minor discoloration from use. S
ize: approx. 11x11x4"deep. Weight is 11 lbs. Mid- Century Modern/Retro, displays beautifully; it isn't just a cooking utensil but is a work of art from Denmark. Avocado green,
round, flat bottom for even cooking. Great for oven roasting but can also be used over a burner for stews, chili, etc.
