[About the Fountain Pen]
The MONTBLANC no.121 was released in the 1970s.
As a successor to the immortal two-digit series, the 121 was released as a high-end model in the three-digit series. Like the no.12, the mountain-shaped cap ring decoration is commonly called the Bishop Ring, and is considered a symbol of the high-end model.

It is a model from the 70s when fountain pen manufacturers went bankrupt one after another due to the invention of ballpoint pens. The three-digit series, which omitted the maintainability that was the selling point of the two-digit number due to cost-cutting, is generally unpopular, but transitional Frankenpen models like this one are rare and very popular.

The writing feel is as wonderful as the no.12.

In this era, the boxes were simple plastic ones, and the use of old two-digit series parts to clear inventory shows the dire situation at the time.
As a result of the company's blood-and-sweat efforts to survive, Montblanc received investment from the Dunhill Group and has survived to this day.
