A superb Untreated Chrome Green Dravite Tourmaline from the Commander Mine in Tanzania. A true collectors gem. This beauty used to be brown in color. Then later in the Tourmalines growth cycle the tips of the crystal became included with chromium creating this incredible rich green colored gem. So just the tip or the upper 25% or so of the crystal was used to facet this gem. The Commander mine has produced some of the very finest Chrome Green Tourmaline in the world.
