I have bought shelves and cat perches made out of materials that would fall apart in a few months. I brought my first custom cat perch made out of real materials before I moved. Not only is it sturdy for my Main coon to jump on it also provides a large area for him to rest. I was unable to find custom perches here or a shelf with the same features. They are always so small, not very soft, and expensive. So I have made my own and many people have taken a likening to them. I would like to supply as many cat parents as possible as I know that these options are hard to find factory-made. This is a 3x1.5 ft real wood and carpet cat shelf made with real shelf hangers and steel screws.
