This is a fine vintage lithograph of a British merchant ship, "The Lintin", originally painted by James Heard in 1846. This print is circa 1940. The frame is vintage as well. In very good condition: there is normal wear and scuffing to the frame, with some small chipping on the edges. Height: 15¼ inches; width: 18¾ inches. Vintage nautical prints of this quality are hard to find.
Built in 1834 in the important shipbuilding city of Sunderland, she was in the Liverpool-Bombay Trade. The 558 ton ship was commanded by Captain J. Gilman.
I live in the Tampa Bay area for local delivery.
