Seiko V.F.A 3923-5010 Vintage DayDate Rectanglar Green gradient Quartz Mens Watch The 39SQW series was made by the Daini Seikosha factory and thus had a far different construction than the 38SQ Suwa series with stepping-motor. The red LED applied on the dial must have been revolutionary which serves as a pulsating power indicator. The 50xx case is also unusual and opened by pushing two leaf-springs hidden between the lugs. The mineral faceted crystal mounted in a steel frame is made of lightly tinted glass with Quartz logo printed on the inside. The strap is a new generic rubber strap of high quality. It is not working because the batteries are dead. I have changed it two years ago and the watch was working fine at that time. I will sell it as is and I will not accepted the return for any reason.
