The Shure MXWAPT4=-Z10 is a four-channel access point transceiver that acts as the bridge between Microflex Wireless microphones and a Dante network. It receives and sends encrypted audio and control data for up to four microphone channels through a single network cable, giving you a tidy installation with minimal wiring.

An AES-256 encryption scheme protects every conversation, while built-in frequency coordination continually scans the spectrum and automatically shifts channels to avoid interference. Because Dante audio and Power over Ethernet share the same Cat5e line, the unit needs no separate power supply and can be added to an existing network switch with ease.

Integrators will appreciate the flexible mounting options. The housing attaches to a wall or ceiling using the supplied bracket, and its paintable cover helps it disappear in conference rooms, classrooms, or council chambers. A plenum rating to UL 2043 means it is safe to place above ceiling tiles in air-handling spaces where local codes demand it.
