Signed and inscribed first edition, first printing hardcover copy of The Arizona Desert King And I by Jim Babala (Self-published, 1989). Memoir of the many years the author spent with Jack Walters, and aka the Arizona Desert King, and a biography of the infamous sheep hunter guide. A very rare book, signed by Babala on title page. With illustrations and photographs. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with mild rubbing/scuffing to faces and slight shelf wear around the edges - including faint chipping, creases and small tears. Boards are straight but with faint blemishes from handling and with corners bumped. Binding is firm and spine is fairly straight. All pages clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
