"Sugar Cane" is an American casual brand developed by Toyo Enterprises.
This is the "065 Union Star Jeans" made of 14.25-ounce denim.
These jeans feature star-shaped stitching and were produced by Sugar Cane based on an order from the U.S. military PX stationed in Japan in the 1960s.
This piece is a modern reproduction based on that original pair, which can be considered the brand's roots.
Features include an original leather patch, a front button fly, hidden rivets, and selvedge on the side seams and coin pocket.
The silhouette is a regular straight, similar to the 1947 model.
This is a great pair of jeans with a nice vintage feel, showing vertical fading.
