First edition, first printing hardcover copy of The Superhero Women by Stan Lee (Simon & Schuster, 1977). Incredibly rare collection of comic book sections selected by the incomparable Stan Lee, highlighting the female heroes and villains across the Marvel universe. With descriptions and commentary by Lee. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and small tears, a few of which have tape adhered to reverse side. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. All pages clean and unmarked though mildly tanned. See photos for condition.
