The Tripp Lite B140-002-DD is a transmitter with two ports that splits a single DVI-D video source and sends it over standard Cat5 or Cat6 cabling to two remote displays. By converting DVI to travel on inexpensive network cable, it lets you position monitors up to 200 feet from the source without dealing with DVI runs that are long and bulky.

It supports video up to 2048 x 1536, including full HD 1080p. The signal path uses mini-coaxial and paired video wiring along with foil and braid shielding and gold-plated connectors to resist EMI and RFI interference, eliminate ghosting, and preserve fine detail.

The box style housing is molded for durability and includes strain relief that protects the connectors during installation and everyday use. Because the unit is TAA compliant, it suits government offices, classrooms, healthcare facilities, and corporate spaces that follow trade agreement requirements. Typical setups include driving two projectors in a lecture hall, mirroring a control room workstation on separate monitors, or extending digital signage to twin displays in a lobby.

Highlights:
  • Splits one DVI-D signal into two and transmits it over Cat5 or Cat6 cable up to 200 feet (60 m)
  • Supports video resolutions up to 2048 x 1536, including 1080p
  • Mini-coaxial and paired video wire construction keeps images clear and prevents ghosting
  • Foil and braid shielding blocks EMI and RFI interference
  • Gold-plated connectors improve conductivity and reduce signal loss
  • Molded design with integral strain relief adds durability
  • TAA compliant for government and other regulated installations
