This is a chambray shirt I purchased at a used clothing store several years ago.
I believe it's a sampling of a 1940s U.S. NAVY chambray shirt.
There are no brand or quality indication tags, and it doesn't look like they were removed, so I don't think it's from a Japanese replica brand.
I couldn't find the same font when I did an image search for the chest stencil.
There is a stencil remaining on the inside of the collar, but it's faded and unreadable.
The white weft threads characteristic of chambray are uneven in thickness, and it looks like nep, although I believe it's cotton.
It has some signs of wear, such as wrinkles and collar stains, but it has a good feel and is still in a condition that can be worn.
No pets or smoking.
