This is a really cool vintage collector's piece!
Vintage OPUS penguin phone - Bloom County 1987 Tyco
Opus the Penguin 13.5" telephone was manufactured by Tyco from the Berke Breathed Washington Press Writers Group comic strip.
When you pick-up the phone, he turns his head towards you and put it back straight when you hang up -- You can switch the direction of his head with a little switch on the back.
The plastic shows signs of wear (scratches, defects in the paint etc). But otherwise good vintage condition (see pictures).

Since I cannot an upload video, the last photo is a screenshot of his head turning when you pick up the receiver - turns back to straight when reconnected. Even if you do not use a landline anymore, this penguin phone can be on display as a collector's piece!
