A beautiful bud vase with a high narrow neck from Lantern Hill Pottery of Seagrove, NC. Lantern Hill was made by the late and renowned Elden Kitson "Kit" Vanderwal, whose life was tragically taken from him in his home and studio in 2014.
This vase features green and tan matte glaze split vertically. It's signed Lantern Hill Seagrove NC on the base but not dated. Seagrove’s pottery tradition dates back to the 18th century and is known for its rich clay and skilled artisans, making it a hub for pottery in the United States.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Some light crazing consistent with age does not detract from the beauty and elegance of this vase.
Measures 7" high, 3.5" wide and 2.6" deep. The neck is 1.25" wide. It weighs 16.5 ounces.
