This is a vintage aizunuri
Aizu lacquerware called Aizu Nuri
Lacquerware made in the Aizu region of Fukushima , Japan
Black with flower print of Camellia
I think it is made of some type of shell
Size / 15 inches around it , diameter 5 inch
Some small scrunches on the back of the surface
Like new, but please know this is a vintage
This is a beautiful box. You can use this as jewelry box.
