Up for sale is a beautiful and rare vintage belt buckle featuring a hand-tooled leather inlay of a soaring bald eagle. This piece is a true work of Western art, signed by the artist Burnett and dated 1982. The leather shows incredible detail in the feathers and features white hand-painted accents on the head and tail.
The leather is set into a solid Brass frame manufactured by BBB. The back is individually numbered, making this a great find for collectors of vintage leatherwork or brass buckles.

Hardware: Original brass swivel bar and fixed prong are intact and functional.
Condition:
The leather has a beautiful natural patina and the tooling remains sharp. The brass frame shows some typical vintage tarnish and surface wear (see photos). The white paint on the eagle's head shows light age-related wear which adds to its authentic vintage character.
