Vintage Chinese boy and girl figurines from 1940s. Made of chalkware and hand painted. Made by Dexter Mahnke. Figures are seated. Girl has a fan, boy has a feather. Red tops, black pants, red hats. 5 inches high, 3 inches wide, 5 inches long. Good vintage condition. Boy: surface/paint chipping along hat edge, paint rub on hat back, bottom has spots where it stuck to surface because of wet paint. Girl: surface/paint chipping along hat edge, paint rub on hat back and front, paint missing spots on bottom caused by sitting on a surface before paint was dry, larger spot with surface chipping.
