Patina? Yes… I left it there- because the reason that I personally love Vintage items is because they tell a story and part of that is the quality of materials used when making anything and the LOVE-blood, sweat and tears (dramatic) put into the design and every stitch.

This has some areas that could be fixed- by a cobbler or as they’re called today- a leather surgeon. Cleaned- too…but I’m putting this out there to be loved and appreciated. I went back and dug under ordinary things and found her. My husband waited patiently- shaking his head as I pulled her out from under the pile and he said - junk. Yes, we are still married- but I was beyond tickled and knew what I had- he just isn’t there yet.
Not for everyone- but this bag is precious to some of us, for sure.
