Vintage double-sided ceramic cocoa or hot chocolate Christmas mug with Santa Claus on one side and Mrs. Claus on the other side. The mug was made in Japan for Lefton between 1958-1960 (it has the Lefton mark and # 868 beneath the glaze). The mug is about 3 1/4 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches over the handle by 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The cold painted faces are bright and show minimal loss of paint, but most of the candy cane stripes on the handle have been worn off by repeated use. Overall, this beautiful Santa mug is in good to very good used vintage condition.
