Elegant teacup and saucer set with floral design.
CONDITION: Excellent, no defects.
Measurements: Saucer 5 1/2” diameter Cup 2 3/4” high
This tea cup and saucer was produced in England in the 1840s by an unknown maker. There are no marks on either piece. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The high handle and pedestal foot on the cup are typically Victorian in style. The intricate hand painted decoration and cobalt borders are the epitome of elegance. There is some light crazing on the cup and saucer and a tiny bit of wear to the gilding on the saucer. Neither of these flaws is very noticeable. This elegant cup and saucer will display beautifully and be an asset to any collector.
