Moran was alive from 1837-1926.
Beginning his art career in the 1840s-1850s, quickly showcasing his talent and exquisite art. Following his time in the 1860s, he became a premier painter of the American West. In 1862, he traveled back to his home country, England, to study and work alongside famous Britsh artist, J. M. W. Turner.
With this history, this print was one of his famous artworks done in Europe at the height of Moran's career! Dating sometime between 1862-1870s.
