Nice set of 3 Vintage Mustache Cups.
All of them have a crescent shaped guard on the top to prevent the mustache from getting wet and or stained.
These were very popular in the Victorian era.
The first mug is handcrafted in England by Lord Nelson Pottery. It is creamy white with metallic gold on the handle & rim of the mug. Nice, detailed artwork on both sides of the mug of a ship at sea. In good condition. No cracks or leaks.
The mug measures 3” in diameter at the opening and 3 1/2” tall.
The second mug is creamy white with beautiful pink flowers with green leaves & metallic gold on the mustache guard, handle & base. There is also a lightly faded artwork in metallic gold of a dragonfly in flight. In good condition. No cracks or leaks. Mug measures 3 1/2” in diameter at the opening and 3 1/2” tall.
The third mug is the smallest one. 3” tall. Is cream white with metallic gold on the rim. Pastel floral pattern on one side. Fluted base w/ tiny chip. See last pic.
