This is a limited edition Marilyn Monroe button issued exclusively to Riviera Hotel & Casino employees for the New Year’s Eve 1992 event and Marilyn Exhibit (Dec. 31 – Jan. 3).
Limited Edition: Only 2,500 made – this one is hand-numbered 1864/2500.
Authenticity: Includes the original Certificate of Authenticity, signed and dated 12/25/92.
Photography: Features Marilyn Monroe in a striking André de Dienes photograph.
Size: Measures approx. 3" across.
Historic Tie-In: Part of the de Dienes collection of never-before-seen images of Norma Jeane / Marilyn Monroe.
The button remains in good vintage condition with strong image and shine. The certificate shows age-related wear including edge wear, creases, and a tear (see photos). Despite this, the piece still displays well and retains its historic value.
