Brown. “Some Like It Hot” opened to enormous critical & commercial success & is considered to be one of the greatest films of all time. This is a signature role for Marilyn Monroe & her performance is simply iconic. It is a spry, quick-witted farce that never drags.
Vintage 1959 ‘Some Like It Hot” authentic movie poster half sheet (22 inches x 28 inches) originally in good to very good condition. Restoration & linen-backing has preserved this half sheet while addressing general wear & tear. Restoration was performed in order to relive the poster, address pinholes in the lower corners, address folds & a crease on the left border. In addition, touchup was performed on the folds & two chips in corners of the half sheet were fixed. It looks fantastic!
