Vintage Fostoria Mid Century Modern Amber Party Ashtray

This is a heavyweight amber party ashtray produced in the 1950s by Fostoria glass. It features a circular ribbed design that resembles a sunflower. The glass is cut sharply and accurately. It has four slots for cigarettes.

While originally designed for smoking, these vintage ashtrays are now often repurposed as decorative items or for holding small objects like jewelry or keys.

It measures 7 1/2” in diameter and weighs about 2 lbs.

This ashtray is a lovely glass piece. It is in excellent condition. There is one very minor flaw that I will point out even though I almost posted this without seeing it. There is a very small chip. Given all of the grooves and ridges, I almost missed this. It is not noticeable! But it is there. The last picture attempts to capture it, but I bet if I didn’t let you know, you wouldn’t have noticed it.
