This K'NEX starter set (#13029/ 23029) was released in 1997. It includes the original 284 pieces as well as the accompanying 80 page instruction booklet which contains plans for 22 separate models - several of which are pictured above.
All of this comes housed in the original yellow carrying case. Excellent for kids - or adults - interested in physics or engineering.
I personally sorted, counted and bagged all of the pieces and can verify the set is complete. Case and manual are also in great shape.
There are small pieces, not for children under 3.
