These are to remove the torsion bar setup on 99-07 GM Fullsize Trucks and SUVs and install coilovers as the front suspension (includes 2wd and 4wd torsion bar trucks). This swap is useful for ~5″ of drop (with spindles) to ~3” of lift with no other mods compared to a stock height truck. For lifted trucks, see the listing for the “Lift Kit” brackets that will accommodate lifted trucks up to ~8″ of lift. The brackets are MIG welded 3/8″ steel that have a doweled design that is very strong.
The most popular combination is the lower brackets and the normal upper brackets (this constitutes a Full Normal kit). The Stud Bushings can be used with or without the normal upper brackets and are an option on the right. These brackets require the factory LCA but can be used with aftermarket UCAs and Spindles. No welding required!
