Vintage The French Company Luxury Luggage Set - Striped Velvet Fabric and Leather Suitcase with Matching Handbag. Both pieces are monogrammed with initials NSE, and a name (and address) written on the inside fabric of each bag, though the writing is faded. The inner lining is cream colored, and there is some discoloration (see photos).
The suitcase is about 21 inches long, 14 inches tall. Handbag is 15" wide and 12" tall
Garment straps in the suitcase are in working order and there is an elastic trimmed pouch running the full length of the bottom of the suit case. The brass zippers and clasps are in good working order as well and there are two keys for locking the suitcase.
There are some stains in the exterior fabric and some wear in the leather trim as to be expected in a piece this old. Please check the pictures carefully to get a better idea of condition of each bag. If you have any questions, please reach out.
