WOW!!! Someone had ambitious plans for this vintage 1970's acrylic crepe abstract floral Hawaiian fabric but clearly ran out of steam. This kind of fabric was wildly popular from the 1950's-1970's & mostly made in Japan or Hawaii. Sometimes called bark cloth because of the crepe texture, the fabric has a beautiful drape. It has no maker's mark but a stamped number which is often indicative of the Hawaiian Textile Company. Very good condition.
All the fabric is laid out in my driveway - there are a LOT of pieces including a finished pillow, a zippered & also unsewn cover & many cut/hemmed pieces. Some measurements:
-Longest piece 44x281" (7.75 yards)
-Lower (hemmed) right piece 35x86" (2.33 yards)
-Upper right (vertical joined) piece is ~ 80" long
Almost 7 pounds & bulky - expensive to ship!
