I started crocheting when I was a little girl. My grandma taught me and I have always used it as a way to calm down and balance my ultra-busy lifestyle. I finally decided to teach myself to knit, but I tend to go back to crochet because it is much more forgiving. I find that if I happen to drop a loop or miscount when knitting, I basically have to just rip out the whole entire project. And if I get called away while knitting, it's difficult to get back in to it. Not the case for crocheting! I just love making amigurumi!
