Scott's Minuteman Album 4 U.S. Stamps, 1847-1974: 909 Stamps, Uncanceled, 180 pg

This is the Scott's Minuteman Album which is for US stamps only. This was my father's album & it's in great shape partly because he treasured it as if on the altar of his passion & partly because all the stamps he collected - & there r a lot he acquired- have a gloss on them to protect them from deterioration: They r beautifully smooth to the touch! (In the early years, the country loved GW as a stamp. Also, many pgs have themes.) There r stamps as early as 1904 in this book & once we get to the 1930's, my father seems to have outdid himself w/stamps placed on almost every image! Earlier times like the 1800's, there is room 4 the connoisseur 2 add 2 the collection (On second perusal, I do see a stamp from 1895!) Inserts from the 1960's & 1970's r included (last 2 photos). Ask 4 photos of any particular page you're inquisitive about. This is a great book 3/4's started for u already. .. I emphasize there r nearly 909 stamps collected without wavy lines & some of a uniform piece (Pic 11).
