I'm ramping down my aquarium hobby and selling off tank accessories I never wound up using. This UV filter is new, and water tested but was not used in an actual live tank. Its primary use is to place in your hanging filter when the water is green or cloudy- it kills the algae. Please note that it should NEVER be placed IN the tank with the fish or where the fish can see it- UV light is harmful to the fish.
