Mantels Direct BEDFORD White-Painted Maple Fireplace Mantel Shelf, 60” Long

New in opened box. I originally paid $549 ($499 for the shelf + $50 for paint option). Asking only half of that, with shipping included!

It’s the Bedford model from Mantels Direct online and was a special order of maple with white paint (their standard painted mantel shelf is poplar, which is softer than maple, and I wanted more durability). I ultimately decided not to use it, a design decision having nothing to do with the mantel itself, but couldn’t return it.

It’s 60” long x 8” deep x 3.5” high, constructed of 3/4” thick planks with a hollow center. Mounts on included hidden mounting rail which provides the structural support, comes with 2 optional corbels (wooden shelf brackets) so you can choose either a floating shelf look or a corbeled shelf look.

Comes with installation instructions and wood screws for studs; can also be installed into drywall, concrete, brick, etc., you’ll just need to furnish the appropriate fasteners.
