Vintage Handmade Kid Child Halloween Mouse Costume 1980s 35" Tall Gray Tail Pink

Hi you're looking at a vintage kids mouse costume from the early 1980s. It was handmade for Halloween, likely from a sewing pattern.

The body is a soft gray fleece-y material. The tail is the same fabric with stiff stuffing to keep its shape. The pink inner ears have a different rougher fabric that has some pilling/wrinkling. They have what feels like bendable wire along the outside edges. The wrists and legs are elasticized.

The chest zips to the neck. The head is sewn on in the back like a hood. The front neck has 2 hooks and eyes to keep it in place that have been sewn repeatedly.

It measures about 35 inches from the top of the head to the bottom, about 13 inches across the chest, and about 14 inches at the hips. The tail curls at about 19 inches and about 22 inches straightened.

Condition-wise it does show its age. Some of the gray material has holes, especially the wrists and tail. There are wrinkles/pilling on the pink textured ears, also some loose threads/unfinished hems.
