Unit is clean and powers up fine, with either 2AA batteries, or AC adapter, but it won't recognize a disc. Buying all function, just won't play a disc. I do not know what's wrong with it and I am selling it as is, in non-functioning order, power up only, does not play.
The whole unit is clean, the battery compartment is very clean and has not seen any battery acid. I've cleaned the lens and thought that might help.
I have read online that it might need a new belt or belt would need lubricating, but I do not want to do that because I don't want to do something wrong and make it worse. It's all yours for ten bucks.
