These Pliers are pretty amazing, I bought them when I started doing engine work and was dealing with spring clamps constantly. Anyone who works with spring clamps knows what I mean. I recently have been doing Preventive Maintenance on trailers. So they've gone unused.
I did buy them off a Cornwell Tool Truck, that's why the price tag on them is so much.
I would like to get my money back, but I probably won't. I'll list them for less and include free shipping.
The locking device keeps the clamp open and stays locked in position without the need to grip and hold onto the pliers until the user is ready to move the clamp
